Pippa and Briar – LGBTQ+ Isle of Skye Elopement
Pippa and Briar chose the breathtaking Quiraing on the Isle of Skye for their intimate LGBTQ+ Isle of Skye elopement, embracing the quiet magic of a 7 a.m. ceremony on a peaceful Thursday morning in March. Before they exchanged vows, we explored the dramatic clifftops of the Upper Quiraing—just the four of us—bathed in golden light as the sun rose over the horizon. It was a moment of pure serenity, with the landscape glowing around them.
From there, we made our way to the Lower Quiraing, where their two sons stood proudly by their side as they said their vows. Pippa had a beautiful surprise in store for Briar—she had secretly arranged for Grant, the Munro Bagpiper, to play during the ceremony. His music echoed through the hills, adding a stirring soundtrack to an already unforgettable moment. Afterward, he even let the boys have a go on the pipes while their mums signed the paperwork, a joyful memory they’ll cherish forever.
This elopement was particularly special for us—not only was it our first of the year, but Pippa is also a wedding photographer herself. It’s always an incredible honour when another wedding professional trusts us to capture their love story.
