We’re Oli and Steph Prince, Isle of Skye couple photographers, couple photographers, and dog-parents. We live in our 200-year old farmhouse, just 20 minutes from the beautiful Fairy Glen and 30 minutes from the awe inspiring Quiraing, where we have adventure sessions with lots of couples visiting the island.

We’ve worked with couples from the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Singapore and Australia here on the Isle of Skye.

We spent over five years working in Antarctica (and even met there), and travelled every continent. The mountains are our second home, and we have the skills for creating a true adventure whilst keeping you safe and warm. Adventure is at the heart of everything we do, and we love sharing our knowledge and skills with our couples.

Leaving No Trace is important to us. We worked in conservation for over ten years, and we have the knowledge and passion to make sure that your session won’t cost the earth. We offset the carbon from our business through Ecologi and have planted over 1250 trees to date.

What is an Adventure session?

From 2 hours to an all-day trip around the Isle of Skye, an adventure session is your chance to be guided around some of the most amazing locations on the Isle of Skye, some more popular and iconic locations, as well as the hidden gems only known by Skye locals. We’ll be capturing your adventure, your connection, and the fun that you have together.

Most of our couples are a little camera shy, but we promise, it doesn’t feel like a multi-hour photo shoot, think of it as hanging out with another couple who can show you some amazing spots, whilst capturing the adventure along the way!

01. Fill out our contact form

We’ll send over our pricing and a quote, so you can get booked in using our online system. We take a 50% retainer fee that you can pay by card, and the balance is due 30 days before your date.

02. Once you’re in, we’re in!

Book your date and we’ll start planning your epic adventure session, we’ll send you a questionnaire, our Skye accommodation guide and we’ll choose your amazing locations.

03. Your adventure day is here – you show up and we bring the magic

Everything is taken care of, so you can relax, enjoy every second of your adventure session, and have an awesome day!

04. You get to relive your trip through your photos

You will receive all of your photos in a stunning online gallery that you can share with family and friends, and download high resolution images from.

We book adventure sessions up to 1 year in advance and only take on a limited number of sessions per year.

Adventure sessions are not suitable for elopements, vow renewals, ceremonies or vow readings. These sessions deserve more planning and support and so come under our elopement packages.

Adventure Albums

Order your Adventure session album when you book your session and save 20%. We offer fine-art albums made by one of the top album producers in the USA. Having an online gallery is great, but seeing your images in print takes your experience to the next level!

Adventure Slideshow

Do you want to show off your images? Add a slideshow of your best images with music to tell the story of your couple adventure.

It depends on how many of them you love. You only purchase your absolute favourites.

We recommend aiming for around sunrise or sunset, as we will have the best light, which will make the photos much more epic. Plus we will get the more popular tourists spots more to ourselves.

Some of our favourite photos have been taken in the rain. We say embrace it! Skye is a very wet place, so no matter the time of the year, you could still have rain on your day. We will bring our dryrobes and umbrellas to keep your warm and as dry as possible, but just have fun! Dance in the rain, and we’ll capture epic photos of it!

Yes, as long as you’ve booked at least a 3 hour session there will be time to change outfits. There are no changing rooms here on Skye though, so remember you’ll be changing in the car or at the side of the road.

Although we have photographed a few family sessions in the past, we don’t photograph them anymore. This is because we are specialist in elopement and couple photography. We’re big believers that you should book someone that specializes in the genre of photography you want, and a dedicated family photographer will deliver a much better product to you.

Generally we recommend staying somewhere around the Portree area, as it’s close to many of our main locations. It also has many restaurants and shops. We’ll send over our recommended accommodation and restaurant guide when you book with us.

We recommend hiking boots as the terrain on Skye can be a little challenging, and often muddy. Plus, we think hiking boots look awesome with a dress! If you need specific recommendations let us know.
